I’m really enamored of Henry Clerval though. In Mary Shelley’s original novel, in Kenneth Branagh’s goofy movie, in Neal Bell’s Monster (a play where Henry is a little gay for Victor, and it’s very sweet).

Oh how I don’t care that I was 5 when this film came out.
